Final Touches...
Today was the day I had SET on finishing editing the project. I had done a bit of editing yesterday, not getting much done, but I was able to get an idea of what I was going to do. With the addition of the last scenes we had finished filming on Tuesday, the music video has succefully come together. This morning, I had been talking to Kaitlyn on the bus, and we had discussed just a few things, like how the audio should sound and claryfying where the scenes were going. While at school, I was able to sit down with my group at lunch. Today would be the last day we would all be able to see each other in person before having to turn in the project. So, we took the intiative to discuss and review how our video was being edited. We talked about where the song would cut off, and came to a group decision to add a fading out effect at the end of the video. After working on a few things, I showed my group what I had edited so far, and we all liked it. After lunch, Kaitlyn, Camille, and I went to class together, and I spent a majority of the class editing the video. It was good being able to talk to them WHILE I was editing, so it would be easier to ask them for their input. While I was editing, my phone had DIED. I was so worried that all the progress on editing I had made would be gone, so I charged my phone and waited for it to turn back on, hoping for the best. Thankfully, when my phone had charged back up again, all the editing I had done had been saved, and, quite frankly, if it hadn't, I would have given up and given the editing job to someone else. All jokes aside, that unfortunately did stall me with time a bit, and I eventually had to stop edting to go to my next class. After school had ended, I couldn't even wait to get home to finish editing the music video. I just wanted to get it DONE. So I decided I would work on it while I was on the bus ride home (which is usually around an hour long anyway) just to get it out of the way. I do take the bus home with Kaitlyn, so I made sure to sit together with her, that way we could finish working on it togther. With a few tweaks to the video speed and saturation of the clips, we were finally finished! It ended up coming out a lot better than we expected it to, and so we sent it to the rest of our group members for approval, and they loved it too!
