This video was super fun to make!! Although at times having to do the work was a bit stressful, it was still an overall fun experience. Being able to go out and film with my friends is definetely a LOT more fun than having to sit and read from a textbook. It's one of the reasons why I like this class so much. After this, I am way more confident in my ability to do well in this class. I really enjoyed working with the partners I had, and we all work really well together. This project really made me excited for future projects in this class. It's a good change of pace, especially since the days I have this class are the same days I have both chemistry AND math...which is fun (not). I'm just proud of the fact that although we had lots of reasons to be behind, with some of us having busy schedules and not being able to find the time to film, that we were still able to get our work done in time. We're all happy with how our music video came out, and we owe it all to o

Final Touches...

Today was the day I had SET on finishing editing the project. I had done a bit of editing yesterday, not getting much done, but I was able to get an idea of what I was going to do. With the addition of the last scenes we had finished filming on Tuesday, the music video has succefully come together. This morning, I had been talking to Kaitlyn on the bus, and we had discussed just a few things, like how the audio should sound and claryfying where the scenes were going. While at school, I was able to sit down with my group at lunch. Today would be the last day we would all be able to see each other in person before having to turn in the project. So, we took the intiative to discuss and review how our video was being edited. We talked about where the song would cut off, and came to a group decision to add a fading out effect at the end of the video. After working on a few things, I showed my group what I had edited so far, and we all liked it. After lunch, Kaitlyn, Camille, and I went

Time to Edit!

Filming was finished on Tuesday, so now it's time to start editing! The scenes we filmed weren't on my phone because I filmed them on Kaitlyn's phone, mainly because her camera quality is better than mine. So, I had her send the videos to me so I could start editing. She had already put the scenes we shot the first day of filming together just to get a feel of how much time we had left. She sent that to me aswell, and so I sarted using my CuteCut app on my phone to start putting the music video together. I had to screen record a clip of the song we are using (Perfect Day by Hoku) to make sure everything was perfectly timed. I used the beginning part of the clip she sent me, but it wasn't working for the song, so I had to ask her to send me the individual videos. She ended up sending me the videos I asked for, and she sent me the "last scene" we were missing. It was a transitional scene, where she had to get ready by ducking below the mirror and popping ba

That's a Wrap!

Today was FINALLY our last day of fliming. Today was a school day, and with our group having busy schedules, it was the only day we could all take the time to film before the project was due. My group and I all rode to Siena's house for filming together. After arriving, I took a small break before having to get ready to film. After I finished, I helped to plan every scene and it's layout out with my group memebers. It was decided that the scene to be filmed first was the sleepover scene, one of the last scenes in the video. Kaitlyn, Camille, and Siena got dressed in pajamas and brought pillows and blankets to the living room. It was suggested that a movie play in the background of the scene, and so we played the first 'Twilight' movie. I filmed the first shot, which took a few tries, mainly due to Siena's dog getting in the way a lot of the time. I then filmed the next shot, which showed the three girls sitting on the couch and enjoying snacks. I filmed one last

Officially Started Filming!

Today was the first day of fliming. In order to get our main filming location, which is Siena's house, Kaitlyn and I spent the first part of the day at her mom's job. I hungout there for a bit, then made my way with Kaitlyn to Siena's house. Upon arrival, alongside Siena and Kailtyn, I did my best to set up the areas that were going to be filmed in. Camille arrived not too long after. Kailtyn, Siena, and Camille are all the main actresses, while I am just the 'cameraman'. I was the one that did all the filming while they acted out the scenes. First, they had to bget ready and dressed into their costumes. Then, I started filming, trying to do it in order of scene if possible. We were able to flim quite a few of the scenes. I filmed Kaityln walking down the stairs, and her greeting Camille and Siena at the front door. Kaitlyn is the 'main character' in our music video. We then made our way to the mall, filming a few scenes we needed there. I filmed them
