Missed the First Day of Editing...
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to school today and talk with my partners. I made sure to let them know in advance, and luckily, they didn't really need me there with them to start the editing process anyway. Luckily, we finished a majority of our filming. They finished the last bit we needed to film today, and sent me the videos to look them over. They came out exactly like how I pictured them, thank god. I tried to make sure to stay close to my phone so if they needed anything they could just ask me. I was trying to get ahead of work I may have missed in other classes these fast two days I've stayed home from school. They did end up working on a good chunk of the editing today. It was mainly just something that Kaitlyn threw together last minute just so we could get an idea of how things were going to look like. It came out pretty good, and not to brag, I really do like how our commercial is coming out. It's almost exactly how I envisioned it to be. Now, as I am supposed to be the main editor, they sent me the video, and now I can use the clips to make the final version of our edited commercial. We need to add things like proper transitions, music, and other factors. The length of the amount we have so far should be about 24 seconds long. This is perfect, because it leaves just enough time to leave the ending screen with the Crayola logo and slogan, which we also had an idea for. Luckily the editing shouldn't take too long, as we only have one day for it left. Although, I am confident that we will be able to finish it in time, and not have it be a rushed job. Kaitlyn will be absent next class, unfortunately. The only good thing is, since I'm doing the editing, her absence shouldn't deter our progress TOO much. I am proud of the fact that our group seems to have good communication skills, which without them, we would DEFINITELY be behind.
